= Phoenix Valley-Area Physical Server Hosting? =

I'm looking for a place I can take my home server and plug it into power and a high speed fiber connection

I'd need power (450w max) port forwarding for Plex and a slot to tunnel into the admin portal. Maybe access every couple months to do physical maintenance / replace drives. Anybody know where I can find something like this here in the Valley?

Maybe these guys? httpswww.spryservers.net/clients/store/phoenix-colocation
There are dozens of colocation places just not seeing many that offer single server options

Google: Phoenix colocation facility
You'll find dozens

You ain't gonna like the price, however

If I could just find someone that I could pay for electricity, I'd be happy. Somebody'swould be enough for me. Nothing mission critical - I'm just at a point where I'm outgrowing my connection with my Plex users

Cox, for my address, is the best game in town, and it's limited to 940Mbit down, 35Mbit up

Little higher price, but it also might be good location based on wher you are

Liquid Web has a phoenix data center and is amazing at hosting. What your asking for is 'co-location' service, which they may or may not do at their phoenix center

And most facilities that do cool location require at least a quarter cabinet of rack space and don’t do by the unit
Digital Reality is one of the premier ones downtown. No idea what they'd charge for 1-2Us of space. A lot of local companies host their physical servers there-- I got to tour it when I worked for PetSmart IT and it is a very impressive facility

Depending on the timeframe we might be able to help you out. We’re about to start a presence in Phoenix (currently serving Boston) check out httpsendoffice.com (email or phone on the bottom. Mention Reddit)
Wouldn’t it be smarter/cheaper to just run your server in a public cloud like aws or azure
When we're talking about nearly 300TB of data, no. Plus I already own all the hardware

You’d be looking for a colocation provider, and as mentioned they’re almost always rented by the cabinet

We use Hurricane Electric at my company. I don’t believe they have a Phoenix site but their prices are pretty reasonable and if you ship them the equipment they’ll rack it for you. Their website does mention cabinet space for a “single 1U server” so they might provide what you’re lookin for. We’re renting a full 42U cabinet so I’m not sure how the single server would work, but might be worth requesting a quote to see what they’ll offer.
