= I made /r/PiSwap - A subreddit dedicated to colocating Raspberry Pi's =

Come join if you want, no idea how to really make a subreddit work but here we go
Any suggestions welcome. This would be great for off-site backups and just general labbing of a multi-site setup

Yes there would be. Even if you do it with equipment from someone you trust, their software stack could be broken into and used for illegal purposes - often done completely automatically

LE doesn't care about the pi swap thing, if the IP belongs to you then they'll come knocking at your door. And, unless you're running a business providing these services and you covered yourself legally, there's a pretty high chance of your personal devices being seized too

Not really, at least not in my view
People love toit out of proportion and fear monger that someone is going to host a worldwide childring on it
In reality that would be sobecause you would open yourself up to getting caught. This is such a niche small thing that its not really going to be targeted by FBI's top 10 most wanted criminals
At the end of the day, we are all grown up enough we can decide the level of "risk" we are okay with. You just need to use basic common sense and decide who is the right person. If someone has a 2 day old account and they are from Nigeria, maybe pass on that guy
Personally, I am fine hosting other people stuff and having them host mine
