= Updating your dedicated valheim linux server to todays 'public-test' beta with steamcmd =

You update like normal, but you have to specify the name of todays beta, 'public-test'

/path/to/your/steamcmd.+login anonymous +force_install_dir /path/to/your/Valheim +app_update 896660 -beta public-test -betapassword "yesimadebackups" validate +exit
I'm used to doing this on 7 Days toand for that game I can always run it as '-beta latest_experimental', but that apparently doesn't apply here

You might not even have to do the ' -betapassword' flag, I just copy/pasted the first combo to work for me

Sorry, I wouldn't be able to help with Nitrado. What I'm doing is running my own server, out of myand that server runs a linux operating system. I'm a linux admin so I'm comfortable with it, and others that do it that way are probably admins or at least IT enthusiasts of some sort. Doing it this way is completely free, minus the electricity to run it

When you rent services like Nitrado, shared web hosting, etc.. you are at the mercy of what options they expose to you, so it may or may not be possible

When you share this information. PLEASE also include where people should report issues aswell since we don't have the manpower to scour the internet for all issues, bugs and balance suggestions that people have

Either our official discord in the #Valheim-public-test channel or steam forums in the Public test feedback thread
