= Low end managed VPS? =

Can you suggest a fairly low cost VPS that is managed or semi-managed (if that is a thing)?
I would like to try hosting Incredible PBX. I have years of light experience with Ubuntu, not a noob but not intermediate either

So I would like some accessible tech support, especially the first month. Also would like help keeping the box secure

IPBX can run on a low end box, 1GB RAM, 1 CPU, even a Raspberry Pi, but I want it in a reliable cloud

My research came up with CrownCloud, Vultr, and Hetzner, but they are not managed, at least not at a low end price

Cloudways appears to manage VPSes on other hosts - Digital Ocean, Vultr, Linode. I doubt it is fully managed, but of some help?
Your opinion of Cloudways and/or other options is most welcome!

Maybe not the answer you are looking for but take a look at the Digital Ocean docs

They have hundreds, if not thousands of step by step tutorials for setting up popular software through the command line httpsdocs.digitalocean.com/
You don't even need to have a VPS with them to access the docs but they are still a good choice imo

I love it when Redditors, like you, give a helpful answer and also go beyond the question to give added useful information!
In checking out some other hosts I've been disappointed at the scarcity of documentation. I hadn't checked Digital Ocean, so it is very helpful to know that they have such a deep knowledgebase. Thanks!
Did a quick search and I found that Vultr has Incredible PBX as a one-click install: httpswww.vultr.com/marketplace/apps/incredible-pbx-2021/
It includes step by step instructions for configuring it and includes the commands for you to copy and paste

I've been using these guys for several years. I got locked into a plan for $30/year, but I don't see it offered anymore. But they have cheap prices still. The only downside is that their OS's are kind of old. I think the newest Ubuntu image they have is 16.04. httpswww.chicagovps.net/kvm-vps
We actually do have a few managed vServers. Most people don't know about them. These are on our website under the "web and managed" and "managed server" tabs. Of course, they are more expensive than our non-managed cloud servers, but they do come with support and built-in services. (For example, the team creates daily backups of your server and saves them for 7 days.) So if you are still learning the ins andof sysadmin, this might be a nice option. --Katie
