= [Hosting] Cloudways + DigitalOcean VPS Beginner =

Good! I used shared servers for years, however now I need a VPS to be able to host an online store in Magento with about 150-200 products in order to have enough resources to do so that I'm told I won't have it on a shared server

I'm thinking of learning how to manage a Linux VPS but in the meantime I found this "Cloudways" service that I think makes using the VPS easier and will work as a managed VPS. I would like to know if you are familiar with this service and if you recommend it to a user who has never used VPS? Also can you tell me if it will work as a shared server or if I will need to have in-depth knowledge as if I were to have an unmanaged VPS?
Thanks in advance ;)
Yes I also think that for now Cloudways will be the best solution, at least until I explore this area of VPS and feel comfortable with Linux. However I spoke to their support and they tell me that when it comes to security, they only ensure the security of the server and not at the application level. Is this very worrying and very different from the support I've always had on a shared server?

There are several, but I recommend Glesys for their excellent support and for not being on American soil. Don't be fooled by the cheap VPS in the USA, think about it, if it's cheap, you have to make the fish pay as they say. Sooner or later you will have downtimes and problems

Besides, being a VPS, and if you don't have experience, choose a pre-built image of the OS you want, or install a VM at home and experiment a little

For online stores and with little experience in Linux administration, it is better not to jump headfirst without proper precautions.
