= Flywheel Managed Hosting vs VPS vs Shared Hosting =

I use Local by Flywheel to develop custom Wordpress websites. I love the idea of a one click deploy from here to get sites online. I plan on selling hosting to my clients and get monthly revenue from them so this seems like an easy way to do it. That being said, it's MUCH more expensive than just getting a big shared hosting plan.

A VPS seems cool, but I don't want to spend a lot of time tinkering with the server and I want to streamline my deployment so this is probably a really bad idea for me.

Shared hosting is cheap as heck. It's not that bad to deploy sites manually using FTP, but if I have 10-50 sites it would get old having to manually move theme files all the time.

Is managed Wordpress Hosting with Flywheel worth it? One click deployment using [Flywheel Connecthttpslocalwp.com/connect-to-flywheel/) seems really useful, but I'm not sure if it's worth the high cost to me. Any thoughts?? I currently have 4 sites I could transfer to flywheel and charge my clients for. In the next month or two I could have enough clients to pay entirely for their "Growth Suite Freelance Plan", but I could also put these clients on shared hosting for much cheaper.

A VPS is in most cases better, as a VPS offers isolation from other users on the server and you’ll probably get full control (root access) over a VPS, so you can install and use whatever you want. With a VPS, you’ll have a faster website because you’ll have dedicated resources to your server instance.

Do you have any VPS you'd recommend. I need simple wordpress installation because I'm not a sys admin and I want to focus on building websites and acquiring clients. I also need simple SSL, HTTPS rerouting and stuff like that. Presumably this would all be easy on a managed VPS like dreamhost?
