Build plan almost ready, but need feedback and criticism. $4000 CAD. Gaming+Streaming Rig. Unique Challenge: Gentoo Linux Host with PCI/GPU passthroughs to bare metal Windows 11

          
          

          
          

          
          

          Note: I have already bought a 6950 xt video card and AK620 cooler. I was going to go with the Ryzen 9 7950x, but am now leaning towards Raptor Lake i9 13900k since the new generation ddr and motherboards seem expensive and limiting. The i9 seems like a good idea because I can upgrade later on when the next generation has cut its teeth some more.

I am also aware that my video card is AMD and one of my monitors is Gsync. I can only hope that there isn't too much of a problem. The i9 also likely gets hot and I wonder about my AK620, so I'm considering the Fractal Torrent to get things a little cooler. I suspect that I will use eco mode for a while.

Please feel free to challenge any of my choices and I welcome any thoughts. My current list is at the bottom.

* Games include: Elden Ring, Paradox Games such as CK2/Stellaris, Baldur's Gate 3, Apex Legends, Cyberpunk 2077, Factorio, RimWorld, Halo Infinite, Dead By Daylight, Kenshi, Mount and Blade: Bannerlord, No Mans Sky, Old World, Pathfinder Wotr, Star Sector, Bad Rats.

* SSD, large storage (Room for several games on SSD), support for more than 2 monitors, friendly to Linux, good audio (I only listen through headphones). I need two separate SSDs since I will run Gentoo and Windows on their own drives. I will store Steam games on the larger Windows SSD most likely. I am aiming for AMD since it seems like it will mesh well with Gentoo. Also important is having an iGPU since I will be running Gentoo as a headless OS, but would like to launch a desktop environment when needed.

* I like the Lian Li LANCOOL III RGB ATX Mid Tower Case or something similar; however, I'm now leaning towards the Fractal Torrent for better airflow. I am aiming for a dash of white, black, and colour throughout the case. I love Outrun aesthetics e.g., blues+pinks

I am flexible with the max price. Overall, I'm looking for something that will last a long time and give me room to build down the line. If you all have any questions about my setup, please feel free to ask. I know it's a bit less common. I have done this type of setup before, but this time I get to plan a computer out ahead of time.
