= Lastpass so glitchy now? Alternatives? (That are not Bitwarden, or self-hosted, because it's for a company w/o dedicated IT) =

Issues I'm having with a limited use of Lastpass (literally sharing 5 passwords to 2 people):

Autofill not working properly on websites (BIG websites like Activecampaign, Freshdesk Not obscure websites where I could understand having issues)

Shared PASSWORD A w/ PERSON A "copy/paste ability", PERSON A not able to copy/paste

Website interface of Lastpass glitching out/not loading properly

Inconsistent performance for our team across different environments (OSes, browser combinations, etc.)

Invitations saying "sent" on my end, but not available to "accept" on team's end (results in canceling then re-sending request)

"Folders" as a concept seemed great, but are actually? I guess what I wanted was "shared folder" but I'm not clear what type of plan I'm even supposed to have for that? This is not a "must", but it would be great to have entire folders I can share instead of having to go down every singlewebsite like I am right now with Lastpass

There has to be something better than this right?

Can you recommend me something that's more consistent, reliable, and less glitchy than Lastpass?

A lot of people recommend Bitwarden, but I don't think we are looking for a self-hosted solution because we don't have dedicated IT.

SAAS pricing comparable or cheaper than Lastpass is OK. Any better deals, would be better. Hopefully there's either a free account, or a premium free trial so I can take it for a test drive to see if it has these annoying problems?

Thanks for your help!

Bitwarden open source solutions exist that allow you to self host, but you can absolutely use their hosted product.

You may want to consider the Business Plan:

BitWarden has hosted business plans where they run everything for you just like LastPass but with less. You do not have to self-host at all.

$3 USD/user/mo. for the BitWarden teams plan. $5 USD/user/mo. for the Enterprise plan for SSO and Admin Password reset capabilities. Both plans start with a trial period.

Is something selfhosted like Keepass ecen out of the question? If it is just 2 people, putting the database file on a fileshare that you can both reach, would be enough.

I really like its autotype functionality to be able to have it enter windows credentials that you normally wouldn't even be able to copy/paste. Never looked back in uisng them generated passwords. Only once in 2 monyhs or so, when we need to change passwords, I hassle with it, changing the autotype to only put in the usrrname/passord and then change the sequence to type the new password twice with a tab in between.

Version 2.x has the option to be able to modify/add entries at the same time. For just aof admins for us 1.x us still good to go at the moment.

httpswww.keepersecurity.com/ is another alternative with good corporate features.

At a previous employer we used TeamsID httpswww.teamsid.com

Granular password access control, who can reveal passwords they have access to, browser extension for autofill, you won't have to host it yourself.
