= Openstack OVH Dedicated Server Networking =

Kumusta sa lahat, nag-order ako ng isang dedikadong server at isang /27 subnet mula sa OVH.

Nag-install ako ng Openstack (na may pinakamahalagang bahagi) dito.

Ikinonekta ko ang /27 subnet sa server at maaari ring i-ping ang 5.5.5.128, na nakatalaga sa interface na "eno1". (5.5.5. ay isang placeholder lang)

Ang problema ay ang lahat ng iba pang mga IP address ay hindi maabot dahil ang isang ruta ay malamang na mali.

Iyan ang talahanayan ng ruta ng aking server:

Ang /24 subnet mask para sa pangunahing IP ng mga server ay tama. Idk kung bakit hindi ito isang /32

Sa kasamaang palad, ang ruta sa network kung saan nais kong ilagay ang mga VM ay hindi gumagana. Hindi ko maabot ang anumang IP dito. Ni mula sa labas o mula sa controller mismo.

Sinubukan kong itakda ang gateway IP para sa "5.5.5.128/27"sa OVH gateway IP (Ginagamit ko para sa default na ruta), ang Servers main IP at gayundin ang 5.5.5.128, ngunit walang gumagana.

Mayroon na ba sa inyo na nagkaroon ng parehong problema o alam ang solusyon?

Its a bit strange, ifconfig doesnt show me my 5.5.5.128/27 here.

Hi, Try to list all the interfaces and taps connected to the bridge brqf535e9d2-5d with the command "brctl show".

You can see wich network namespace is connected to the tap interface doing "ip a" under link netns.

Then try to stablish communication in the subnet from the network namespace. "ip netns exec [netns connected to the tap] ip a"

This way you can see if you can stablish connection to instances running in compute nodes in the subnet 5.5.5.128/27

Could you explain how and where I can find the "network namespace"

You can see wich network namespace is connected to the tap interface doing "ip a" under link netns.

I can't find it

.128 looks like a network address. you should use 129-158 for host and one ip should be the gw
