Hello. I think this is a popular request. What cheap Vps/vds hosting to use in Europe for Vpn purposes? I am from Russia and they are currently blocking many services and in the future possibly YouTube. I bought NordVpn account (no money, 18 y.o. student) and tried free ProtonVPN. They worked nicely but today both stopped working. I found owned networks hosting for 5$/month. Is it a good price? Russian credit cards dont work outside Russia now so I need to pay with WebMoney or crypto.

Have you used WebHorizon? It looks prettynice for openVPN/Wireguard deploy (I mean, it runs fine on an openwrt router with 64 MB RAM, even cheesiest offer at 256 MB RAM shouldn't be a problem with minimal OS setup), but I can't find info on their bandwidth, it only lists "premium bandwidths" @1 Gbps. What happens after that is used up? Is there another limit at lower speed, or it's paid per GB after that?

After a quick glance it seems like a hard ask. None of the reputable hosting vendors I know around here seem to accept Bitcoin as payment. The ones that do I've either never heard of and/or their pricing starts at 8,99€ per month.

It also seems that you'll inevitably have to employ some good reliable translation extension for your browser.

Technically the best soln is Shadowsocks with V2Ray/Cloak connecting via a CDN such as Cloudflare to a backend server such as the feee Oracle VPSes.

As for procurement, I'm not sure if you can get one of those online CCs to register? I guess if it was that easy the sanctions wouldn't mean anything so YMMV.

I can help you payment-wise if you need that to be done.. I am using estnoc. What matters most to me is uplink speed, they offer 100 mbps for 15/mo and 1gbps for 30/mo.

If the only thing you care about is the actual VPN I could also hook you up with mine - it can support quite a few users with the 1 gbps uplink (I didn't do anything fancy for DPI evasion - right now it is just TCP over 443 which should be enough unless the Russian govt becomes slightly more qualified)

(The big bonus here is they are in Estonia which means extremely fast speeds since there is no weird rerouting from Russia to a faraway location)

You could try oracle cloud, they require creddit card but i have no idea, it might just work.

(No payment, just to verify that you are not a bot) I personally use they server in Frankfurt to route my traffic. They have wery rich free tier.IF it would work and you could make acc there, i can even help you setup PIVPN on theyr server on forever free tier.

Other option could be asking someone with VPN if they can help you, I once knew one man who hostd VPN for other ppl to host minecraft over he's node.

YET another option would be to use, as you mentioned some free VPN, like Nord, Proton, TunnelBear, etc.
