= How do I transfer my Wordpress site from Bitnami-AWS EC2 to a shared hosting like HostGator/Bluehost? =

I have my domain at Namecheap and hosting at Bitnami/AWS EC2. Now as the AWS free tier has expired, I want to move my site + point my domain to HostGator's shared hosting. I have exhausted all Google knowledge, not a lot of articles on how to do this.

Any help is appreciated.

Bitnamini used to provide ability to connect to their VMs and install tools as well as import and export data from it. Has that changed?

Why can't you use the Wordpress Admin plugins to export your content?

Doesn't look like you tried too hard. This was literally the first hit on my search- httpsdocs.bitnami.com/aws/how-to/migrate-wordpress/

Sure, I'll take their help as well, but since this involved site migration/transfer + AWS EC2 + Bitnami hence the AWS subreddit

There's a WordPress tool for creating a backup. Just setup your hostgator/blue host site with the tool as well then make a transfer andyour AWS infrastructure. I'd bet AWS is cheaper though are you sure you want to do this?

I have taken backup from All In One WP Site Migration tool. Its stored in my local storage. Now, the second part about the domain. How will the domain get pointed? Before/after the WP content & files? If I do that, won't my website be running on two servers simultaneously?

I thought about remaining on AWS, but I couldn't predict the cost, now that the free tier is over. The website is new, and up until now has only aof posts. 7-ish and 5 pages. However, now that I've taken notice of it, I plan to churn out more content and publish 60 posts over a span of 5 months.

I got HostGator Baby plan for $116/ 3Y.
