# GoDaddy managed WordPress hosting emails

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding Godaddy Managed Wordpress hosting. I have a client who already purchased Godaddy Managed Wordpress hosting plan. It turns out that this plan doesn't include a cpanel, hence no way to create cpanel email accounts. We're forced to subscribe with Microsoft 365 email. The problem is that there is an extra subscription fee per email account. Is there anyway around this without having to pay extra per account?

It's not often I say this but GoDaddy have done you a favor. You seem to be desperately trying to avoid paying for a service that works brilliantly and is used by megacorporations everywhere, so you can put business email on cPanel and spend the rest of your life dealing with supporting it and its limitations

Wow. And you'd be the first person to confront me with that. Could you expound on this please? Everywhere else I've searched it's people mad at GD for forcing this on users

Nothings stopping you from setting up a cpanel account elsewhere just for emails and point the mx records there

Definitely seeing a huge switch to workspaces a m365 as you get teams for chat and conferences

And not a fan of godaddy but most managed wordpress don't come with emails

Managed WP doesn't come with control panel. If you want free, use Zoho mail

But the best solution is: Leave GoDaddy

If you want free, use Zoho mail

Just remember that free Zoho is web-only for new accounts. No IMAP

We recommend not using cPanel email since the availability of your email is directly tied to its uptime. A managed email service is ideal because if your site goes down, your email is coming down with it

We offer managed mailboxes with unlimited storage in packs of five
